I decided to play along at 10 Minute Craft Dash The colors are just GORGEOUS! ❤ They make me so happy and smiley! :]
I am also playing along over at Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog and this week the challenge is Happy Mail!
I did the best I could with the supplies I have on hand. As I mentioned in a previous post I’m staying at my boyfriend’s house for a month before we move into the new apartment and a lot of my crafting supplies are in storage…I have JUST ENOUGH to get by 😛 haha
I decided to use a craft card base and Studio Calico’s Sundrifter 6×6 paper pad. Luckily the colors used in this collection are very close to those of this challenge. In this paper pad they have a sheet that has some cute little sayings on them and I thought this square that reads ‘You are lovely’ was just perfect! I used a fiskars border punch to create the scalloped edge on the pink/coral piece of paper and then cut it in half. I then white heat embossed those tiny adorable hearts from Simon Says Stamp Best Mom Ever stamp set. Popped the greeting up on some dimensional adhesive, rounded the top right hand corner and added some dash lines along the outside of the card base and that was it! I was able to finish just in time! :]
And…here is my card. I like this one a lot better than my 1st attempt at this challenge, enjoy! :]
