Hello all, so I have two new cards to share with you today. Let’s jump right into it.
I was on a kick with the Wendy Vecchi embossing paste and stencils. I just couldn’t get enough. Anywho, I thought I’d share these cards. I love the way both of them turned out.
On a very different note, I’ve been sick but was fortunate enough to have a phone interview today that must have went pretty well since I have a face to face interview next Tuesday. I’m super nervous and am really hoping to get this job…so wish me luck!
It has been over a year since I’ve last posted on this blog, and I’d like to get back into the swing of things. A lot has happened in the past year, and more changes are coming soon but one thing that has remained the same has been my love for paper crafting. And although I haven’t devoted as much time to crafting as I once did this past year, I’d like to make it a priority in my life once again, and I think one way of doing that is to get this blog back up and running, and better than it ever was before.
With that said, I’d like to start this post off with some cards I’ve made more recently. And when I say more recently, I use the term loosely…but I have just now gotten around to photographing them and sharing them with anyone aside from Nick.
I know, I know, Easter was FOR-EV-ER ago…but c’mon, this Easter card is just way too cute not to share. So simple, with the mint green stripes and little flower cluster that I used my wink of stella brush on, and those perfect little enamel dots. I just couldn’t resist posting this.
Can you see a common theme with these last two cards? I just love this adorable Simon Says Stamp set.
Well, if anyone is actually reading this, I hope you enjoyed it. I’ll be back soon with some more cards. 🙂
Hi there! I have 5 cards to share now, that I’ve already taken pictures of and probably about 5 or 6 more cards to share once I get photos taken of them.
So here we go…
Hi there! We are finally in the new place! Which is why I haven’t posted anything for a few days. Still not completely moved in (I have a few big pieces left to bring over, my book cases and china cabinet, and some boxes full of random little odds and ends) but at least we are here and I’ve been very busy unpacking. I still haven’t gotten my crafts set up but luckily I have quite a few cards that I did a while back and haven’t shared yet.
I don’t have the supplies on hand so I can’t write out a full description but I’ll share some photos anyhow.
With Father’s Day coming up I thought I’d share these cards first, I can’t wait to get all of my supplies over to the new place and have a work space again!
Here is a card I created for Addicted to Clean and Simple Challenge #13 Code Word BIRTHDAY!
Which could not have come at a more perfect time because I actually needed to make my nephew a Birthday card.
Hi all, I wanted to play along with this week’s Fusion Card Challenge
I went with Lesley’s Challenge (the pink, orange and yellow flowers) I chose to stick with the gorgeous color combo and went a little outside the box and didn’t actually use any flowers, which I hope is okay!
I inked the main image panel with Distress Inks from Tim Holtz, I used Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade & Squeezed Lemonade (some of my favorite color combos with the distress inks) and then stamped the image over top of it with Unity Stamp Company’s By A Thread Itty Bitty stamp set. Originally I wanted the sentiment to just be on the white card base, but I had a mishap…alright, not a mishap I’m just goofy and accidentally stamped the sentiment up side down, so I had to change my plans a bit and decided to stamp the sentiment over a piece of patterned paper which I got from My Mind’s Eye Happy Day 6×6 Paper Pad. Not exactly what I had in mind, but I can live with it. The sentiment is adhered directly to the card base and the blended panel is popped up with some dimensional adhesive.
Thanks for stopping by! :]
